Particularly, check out the video from Guning Api if you like sea snakes. It was awesome.

Bill, the Gunung Api video is great. Well-narrated, nicely paced. Very professionally done. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Do you find that you are a little more daring with poisonous/potentially dangerous sea creatures when you have a big video/camera rig? That thought crossed my mind more than once while watching your footage of the olive sea snake. I've heard that they are not aggressive at all, but I bet it could be quite unnerving to be mobbed by several large ones during a safety stop...or while surfacing. (They do have to breathe at the surface, right?)

The video was entirely my wife's doing. I was scared brainless on the first dive with the snakes but in the history of diving I think that getting bit by a sea snake is up there with getting run over by a submarine.

very nice pics and videos. I don't get spooked easily underwater, but I think those beautiful snakes would freak me out. I'll get to try out my new little Panasonic P&S in Lembeh in another 6 weeks.
