Cal Boat Diving?

Has anybody had any experience with these folks?
I will be going Oct 25-28 2002 and wondering about their operation.

I've dived from Spectre. Not extravagant but it was decent and I'd do it again. The Channel Islands are worth while, and you can get in 4 dives on a good day on this boat.

There were 40 divers on board but it's a big boat that was reasonably run. The briefing was good, they let you alone to dive and they serve a decent barbecue lunch (extra cost).

If you closer to LA, I dove a boat from Long Beach a couple of weeks ago that does a quick run to Catalina that I highly recommend. (expressdivers.com) Catalina is not quite the Channel Islands, but this was a good dive boat.

both the Spectre and the Peace, but the trips have been on local shop charters. They've been around a while. You also might want to take a look at www.californiadiveboats.com.
