Here's a video from the Biganimals.com trip we took in Oct. 2011 to Guadalupe Island with Amos. I worked hard to get on this trip and it didn't disappoint! This was the third consecutive year of going to Guadalupe and was a trip I will never forget! This is diving is not without it's risks which you are briefed on before every single dive. I hope you enjoy!

Looks like fun. Any recommendations on trips? Did you stay on a live aboard?

OMG, that was AWESOME!! Loved the vid, you couldn't have picked a better opening song, either! Siiiiiick!!!

Thx for sharing this awesome vid !

More info on what was briefed etc ? I would be surprised that they let untrained divers outside the cave (untrained as in not used to diving with great whites).

Great video!! Not for me

Great video Chris!
Must have been an awesome oppurtunity & experience for you, & some time away from the shop....

Hey Joeri some back info about this kind of diving. The trip only had 7 of us total and 6 that did all the dives which included divers from Texas, China, Australia, Italy and my wife and I from California. Regular trips take 16-18 cage divers on the same boat. I myself worked and worked to try and get on this trip, finally after knowing what my dive experience was I was alowed on the trip a year in advance. This trip had very leathy 7 or 8 page liability releases which stated in detail all the dangers of this kind of this type of diving in great detail, that had to be signed by you and significant other in the presence of a notary. All of us had been diving with great whites inside or outside a cage before the trip I myself had been cage diving in Guadalupe the last two years. Everyone that went belonged there with expert diving skills and completely calm and comfortable while diving, if this wasn't the case you were told at the time of deposit you would remain in the cage period! This trip has alot of people against it saying that you just pay some money and anybody can go with little to no real experience. This if complete BS the trip leader doesn't want or alow you to book this trip without him talking to you in advance and reviews your application for the trip. Like I said I worked for months talking to him before I was alowed on the trip. This was a trip of a lifetime which I'll never forget and I hope to get to do it again some day.
