I'm thinking of a trip in late May or early June. Any advice, conditions, etc?

It should be good diving by then... I hear it is windy during the winter and not much diving is done during that time. May or June should be the start of their dive season.

My buuddy and I went in Sept '08 and would recommend it. It is definitely a place to get away from it all (1 store and 2 or 3 places to eat). Stayed at Cabo Pulmo Dive Center (cabopulmo.com) Nice bungalow for $69 a night, but the whole town is off the grid (no phones, tv, and power is all solar). No night life since everything runs on generators when the sun goes down. The East Cape has not been commercialized like Cabo.

The drift diving was incredible. Huge schools of Jack, Yellowtail, Parrotfish, Trumpetfish, Barracuda, and Rays.

Cabo Pulmo is good after May, the water temp. can be around 75 to 88 degrees.
I have tours to Cabo Pulmo with a minimum of 4 divers.
The longes you wait to go the better for better condition, Nov. is the last month os the year that we have good condition at Cabo pulmo.

I Dive every year in Cabo If you really want a good dive at Cabo Pulmo its best from the end of july to the end of dec.Its a mild drift Dive during the summer with water temps in the 80s air temps mid 90s.i get away with my shorty but i see lots of Divers with no suit.
I book with Baja Dive. They have nice vans and serve a great lunch.
