Looking for info on seasonality of the diving at Cabo Pulmo.

We're planning a trip to Mexico with 4 or 5 days in Baja for some time around January-February...but we might be able to tweak the timing a little if there's something special happening (whale sharks?) or something to be avoided (cruise ships?) at specific, reasonably predictable times.

Can anyone comment on the better/worse times to be there, or point me to a resource on that? Thanks!

It is totally unpredictable, but schools of mobulas have occurred in the waters off of Cabo Pulmo in the past around that time of the year. Otherwise, you can still see the occasional Bull shark and big schools of snappers and jacks. Whalesharks are more common during the summer months near La Paz.

We dove with Mar Y Sierra - they're a good dive operation.
