Hello, I will be in Bohol in late May early June
The hammersharks season will be over, it should end more or less in April
Do you think it is still worth it to make an attempt and go to Cabilano Island anyway? If I won't find hammersharks, do you think in any case it is nice to go diving there so it's not just a wast of time even though you don't see the hammersharks?
Thanks

Cabilao hammerheads are a legendary tale since a long time and since trailers have fished them out.
Don't expect to see any nowadays.
Though some divers claim they have seen hammerheads around Apo island at depths that are not recommended for everyone.

Sad to hear that
They say there are hammerheads off the coast of Malapascua, not in Moalboal it's another shoal
Anyway provided it's not likely to see hammerheads, at least unless diving quite deep, do you think Cabilao is worth a visit anyway? It is not difficult to reach with banka boat from Tagbilaran or Panglao, it's like one hour

Thanks. Do you have specific suggestions on what to see in Cabilao?
