Once in Thailand, showing my GUE fundandamental card didn't allow me to dive nitrox. They also grouped me with 2 other PADI Open water students.

Which operator was that?

Many dive ops in malaysia have never heard of GUE as well.

I always travel with a Naui/padi card in addition to my GUE cards when abroad. Serves as a good learning opportunity and ensures I get to scuba dive :)

I was never denied

I have a lot of fun with writing down the number because when my card was issued they only used instructors numbers, so technically I don't have a number on my card
