If I wanted to fill my own cylinder, what is the best air compressor to buy?

What are the minimum power requirements, etc. it should have?

Please post examples.

An excellent choice would be the W31 I’m selling, ha! It takes a lot of diving to justify the cost. Or a lot of driving to get fills and you just want the convenience. Fills are a 30 minute drive each way and 10 minutes for the full, easily an hour plus. I count my time at $50/hr, so a full is $62. If you count the cost of your time, the cost of the compressor isn’t that much.

The W31 runs on 220v single phase, small footprint and fills 80s in about 20 minutes. More than enough for you to fill a couple of tanks each week to dive on the weekends without having to visit a shop.
