Work and family issues have prevented any chance to take a drysuit class, so I haven't tried it out.

Honestly, I picked up a drysuit on dive 9 of my diving career. By dive 11 I had air and buoyancy basically mastered. The classes are a gimmick imo. Just practice in 20ft of water with a buddy and figure it out yourself. Save you 200$.
