Anyone know if and where I can buy just a Mares V16 1st stage by itself?

We do not sell the 1st stage by itself, but if you go to an Authorized Mares dealer they may be willing to work with you.

Sorry to hijack this thread.
Hi Larry (or the Mares rep). Got a quick question on the V16 which I currently own. The hi pressure port is pretty close to the LP ports. Will a wireless transmitter (such as a Suunto) fit in there? I was considering getting a suunto vytec DC and wireless transmitter but looking at my V16, not sure if there's room for the transmitter. Just wondering if you had any experience with this.
BTW, the Zeagle stiletto you sold me has been excellent. Fits great and handles like a dream underwater.

Well, sorta'. Probably because Mares doesn't make a wireless transmitter, it appears as though they don't bother make their equipment to work with it... but there is a work around. You can get an extension that will move it out a bit, and then you have enough room for the other hoses to pass it. If you don't want an extension on there... then I'd say no.
