You have to be careful on your land navigation on the way out though, very easy to get off course.

I really need to dive Buford. That is one hole I have not been in, but I will make it this year. Anyone who's been there want to be my guide?

The trouble with diving Buford Sink before January is the mosquitos. I dived it in May and the mosquitos were horrible. I would suggest you wait until after the first of the year, when the swamp is dryer and the mosquitos have gone away. January through early April are prime time for Buford Sink. almtree: Bob

How far is the actual swamp walk? Looks like a four wheeler trail after the gate, then how far off trail until you get to the spring?
