This is a long shot but i figured i would ask here, worst case i learn a few things.

So I am military originally from Buffalo, NY and going home on leave and really itching to dive. I don't own a dry suit and am not certified but at this point I would ice dive wet if it was the only shot I had to get into the water. I am looking to see if anyone can recommend a shop or just a crazy diver that knows the river or something to dive in around buffalo. I promise I am a good buddy who is good on air and safe.

So any ice diving this early?

Is the river still safe to dive?

Anyone up for a freeking cold river dive if it is safe?

I am almost 90% sure i know all these answers but figured I would try.

Thanks!
Mitch

Make the trip up to St. Cathrines, Canada, and talk with the guys at Dan's Dive shop. They stay pretty active throuh the winters.
