Budget Diving in Fiji

So I'm looking for some diving around Fiji, and thought I'd pop in here for some suggestions. What I'm looking for is budget, backpacker like. It's just me, so no big resorts, or fancy rooms. I would need gear hire too, if that's a consideration.

I've found some from Reef Safari that have pretty websites, but not much info I could find. Has anyone gone with them and got more to share? Besides them, any other hot tips or places to share with a new guy? Thanks.
