Hi. We stayed at Den Laman last July and are booked to return this coming June. The rooms are nice although the furniture isn't the most comfortable. Everything was very clean. It was very convenient to pull the truck up to the tank storage and off we go. Also nice to have the rooms so close to where you park or the dock. No long walks to anywhere. BDA wasn't very accomodating (no option of taking Rescue course, couldn't get us hooked up for town pier, boats often full very early), but they were very busy that week. We ended up only doing one boat dive (to Rappel) but plan on paying for the package and seeing Klein a bit. Even if we only do 2 or 3 boat dives, it probably pays to get the package. We walked over to Buddys to check it out. Could have long walks to places because the area is so spread out. Also, Den Laman seems much more secure. Good luck with your decision!

Klein is very different from shore dives on the mainland. The reef at Klein is more of a long sloping wall, less "structures" but plenty of interesting things to see. Some nice areas right under the boat for safety stop too. Lots of frogfish and seahorses.

Funny, that's exactly how I describe the shore diving in Bonaire. "...a long sloping wall, less "structures" but plenty of interesting things to see. Lots of frogfish and seahorses.";)

Just teasing you robint.:eyebrow:
