Can you describe how aggressively you enforce buddy diving aboard your vessels? We all know photographers that buddy-up to jump off the stern and never see each other until they independently arrive back at the camera table. I understand that your company no longer allows solo diving even when certified.

I guess it comes down to how you define acceptable limits for divers that you judge to be safe and competent. I have seen it range from “arm’s length”, “same ocean buddy”, to “don’t ask don’t tell”?
