It appears Buddy Dive has A/C in the bedrooms, but not in the living areas of the rooms. How does that affect room comfort? Going to Bonaire in May.

We were there last June and had no problems. There is a constant breeze in Bonaire which helps tremendously. The other thing is that if you are doing 3-4 dives per day, you core body temp will have dropped enough during the day that you won't notice it. The only days we were "hot" were the first few hours there before diving and then the last "no dive" day.
We even cut off the a/c in the bedroom at night most nights as it seems too cool for us. :D
Have fun!

I just got back yesterday. We used our A/C in our room every night. There were a few nights when it was a little much and we turned it up a bit. If you have a fan I think you should be fine or keep the windows open. Make sure you have screens though as the mosquitos were awful!

We were there in April / May of 2007 and as mentioned AC was only in the bedroom. It was hardly a hardship. With us and gear coming and going it was almost a blessing not the worried about letting the cool air escape.

All in all we spent very time hanging in the room. Evening brezzes did us well and when we were there we were kicking back and not working up a sweat. After a few days of intensive diving even in warm water your body will tend to welcome a little heat soaking.

BTW.... Buddy does not provide wash cloths for the bathrooms. You get one plastic scrunchie thing for the party. If that's not your idea of hygiene consider bingiing some old cloths from home that you can leave behind to make room and weight allowance for souvenier items.

Yeah, what they said. It's no big deal. Have fun!
