VaScubaGirl once bubbled...
What's a dyscrasias?

VaScubaGirl a Dyscrasias means an abnormal condition of the body and especially the blood. That is straight out of the dictionary (I looked to be sure). Basically a fancy word for condition or problem.
Also, yes it is worth the extra tests just to be sure. If not for the peace of mind for the "Preventative Maintenance Factor". For Example, better to eat healthy and exercise now than have your chest opened for open heart surgery later. Just an example. Both Drs give sound advice.

I just got a bruised nose today from a dive. Not sure of the cause, it did seem like there was some pressure even though I'd equalized. But my theory was that it was my HOOD pressing the mask into my face. I have done most of my diving in warm water and no hood was needed, except when I'm in San Diego. Curious if you had a hood on.
