Scuba diving death
The body of a scuba diver, believed to be a British man, was retrieved from the Zenobia wreck off the coast of Larnaca on Thursday.
Police investigations into the circumstances of the tragedy began after the diver was rushed to Larnaca General Hospital where doctor’s determined he was dead.
The ship sank 34 years ago and has become Cyprus’ best-known scuba diving site attracting thousands of local and foreign scuba divers per year.
Thursday’s diving casualty is the sixth connected to the sunken vessel.

May his diving be eternal. RIP

Ironically I discovered this while researching this wreck for my next trip to Cyprus. Does not sound like an extreme dive so it will be great to hear the details when they are released

I did a few dives on the Zenobia and really enjoyed them greatly! One BIG issue with this wreck is people entering the wreck without the proper training and equipment.
