Since last weeks heavy rains (turned into Tropical Storm Cindi) we have had some heavy mosquito problems. Tonight we went to our old regular El Pique taco shop, got bitten alive and had to leave.

IF you are going to be outside now, cover yourself with spray ( I suggest 40% DEET).

This is not normally a problem but it is right now.

El Pique! That's the name of the great place that I couldn't remember. Been bugging me for two years. Thanks...

My wife loves bug bands. I can't get by with anything less than Deep Woods Off! And they are huge! Nothing like the tiny ones back home in Tennessee.

I overheard 1 mosquito ask another, "Should we eat him here or take him back to the swamp?" The other answered, "If we take him back, the big ones will take him."

If it is not 40% DEET, good luck. Tonight I sprayed all over my arms and neck, while my Mexican finance skipped it all together. She was being chewed up when she pointed to my nose, and smacked a big one with lots of my blood. WE left by agreeing to pay tomorrow. Used to be that the downtown sections of Coz were pretty mosquito free but since the last election they may have had to cut back. The new Island President is trying the best she can but the "swamp" is winning.

Deep Woods Off is 25%. I watched them circle, but not land!

PS - Really enjoying my dives with
Adrienne this week!

Thanks for you being real. Yes, there are bugs in the tropics.

Thank you, Dave, for the heads up. We will be there in two weeks (!!!!!!!!) and will be sure to bring a big bottle and use it. It hasn't been much of an issue for us in past summers, as you said.

It doesn't have to be DEET - I have never been able to find ANYTHING with or without DEET to keep them off of me until now. This is what I use - non toxic, natural ingredients and doesn't smell bad. Comes from a company that's been around for over 30 years. I was skeptical but it totally works. I will have some extra bottles in the next week. PM me if you're interested.
