Under Water - love your pics and a well written report.

We stayed at BH5 that week and if you ever go back to CCV - get that BH5- it was great. Sorry we didn't get more time to get to know you while we were there with Pelagicsal.

Your buddy Sallye had a great time, too, Kent!
Where're we going next?!?

Good question. Charlene and I have been talking but have not come to any conclusion - although we thought the diving in Roatan was nice - we are of the opinion that it was not as good as some other places we have been recently (especially with the conditions around the Price Albert most days). CZM maybe this summer?

Nice pictures!

2 comments, if this could help you in the future.

1. We found that visibility on PA wreck was much better early in the morning. You have to be underwater by at least 6 am which we did every day (we stayed across the bay, in FI). We did a couple of night dives there but then dropped this idea cause by night water was totally messed up. I forgot when exaxtly we were there, but this was the same time of the year (April-May 07).
6AM!! :shocked2: Unless there are mermaids on the wreck, I don't think I'll ever get up and in the water by 6 AM on vacation.

2. To defeat fogging, always put a small pack of silica gel into the housing.
Thanks. I ended up doing that as well as using the air conditioned dive shop.

Yeah, I know. But this is tough only the 1st time you do it, then you get used to it. Early morning dives can be really cool.

You can buy silica bags in Amazon, quite handy Amazon.com: Sealife Small Moisture Muncher (10-Pack): Camera & Photo

I have awakened at CCV (successfully, so far) about 475 times.

Will somebody please take some pictures of that 0600 dive for me?

I'll be waiting in the Clubhouse when you're done, drinking coffee. :coffee:

5 a day is plenty enough for me already. Sometimes I'll do a second night dive at 10pm (making it 6x),
but once I'm in bed, I have pleasant hallucinations of drifting over a reef as I fall asleep. Waking at 0700 and stumbling
down to breakfast is my upper limit skill set.

Knock yo'sef out!

On a couple of dives at 6 am we saw a guy who was diving solo from Coco. This could not been you, right? ;-)
