No, there aren't. In fact, there's not even much of what you'd call a town there.

There is beer brewed locally on the Yucatan served a lot of places on Cozumel, though, that you won't find in the States (as far as I know, anyway); Leon Negra. I like it a lot. Other than that, you'll just find the regular run of Mexican brews: Corona, Sol, Carta Blanca, Superior, Bohemia, the Modelas, Dos Equis (which, ironically, a lot of the locals call "Double X"), etc. Some places you may even run across that exotic import - Budweiser.

a little known fact about Mexican breweries is that they are partially if not 1/2 owned by German breweries, thus...good beer! I think Bohemia is one of the best beers I've every had, Modelo Negro, Victoria and Pacifico are also good. you can find Bohemia, Pacifico and the Modelo's here in the states.
when the Planet Hollywood was still open we had a beer from Cuba that was out of this world!! I wish I would have gotten the name from the bartender because I'm sure you can find it somewhere down there, but I haven't been able to locate it yet.

Not sure that I would want to drink anything made from the local water . . .

mmmmm... beer...
Lots of good suggestions here so far, my favorite is Leon Negra (a dark, full bodied brew), followed by Superior (lighter), and Bohemia. Tres Equis is the better stuff, Dos Equis is for the folks that don't know about the Tres. ;)
Any time that I've had Tecate has always been followed by "las touristas". :***:

Cerveza Tinima or Cervesa Crystal are both great beers from Cuba

Not much of a town in Cozumel? Are you kidding?

I agree with everything here EXCEPT the Dos Equis vs. Tres Equis debate. I worked in Mexico for 13 years in Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico, and lived just north in Del Rio, Texas. Everyone there used to say that the Tres Equis was terrible and the Dos Equis was the more premium of the two. About the only thing worse was Modelo in their opinion. But, to each his own! JMHO
