Brazil Shop Recommendations/help

hi there I am competely new to this whole thing and I am stuck between a rock and a hard place .. right now me and my boyfriend are getting set up to do our dive lessons and then in Febuary we are going to try and do our certifiying dives in Brazil.. I have tried to contact some dives shops there via email through Padi.com and i have been waiting about a month with no response I would really like to know if any one has any refferals for the Rio area for any decent dive shops to do our certifying dives with. muchly appriciated

If you're coming to Rio, you should dive in Angra dos Reis or Arraial do Cabo (I prefer Arraial). Diving in Rio is not really good...
I can recommend masterdive in Arraial, give them a call/email

I agree with the places to dive. you can try x-divers (see their web site)...Rodrigo is the instructor who organized the trip I was on - very professional.
I was not in need of an instructor so I can't evaluate him that way but I watched him with a class and he seemed fantastic, albeit a bit unconventional.
