After several phone calls with Tobin to go over my wing requirements (mostly to get me out of the mindset of needing a 35# plus wing) I ordered and received my BPW set up. Based on Tobin's advice I went with a SS long pattern with the Torus 26# wing. Last night I was able to do a pool dive with it for the first time. One word - AWESOME!!!
Overall I really love the way it felt or really the way I did not feel it. I do need to readjust the cam buckles and tighten them up and raise the tank a little to balance my trim better but that was all expected for the first dive. Given I was diving in a 2mm shorty I was slightly over weighted with the SS plate. I was easlily able to compenste with a couple of pounds of air in the wing. Now it is time to go for a real dive....
So another convert to the BPW setup. Also, major kudos to Tobin for his excellent advice. I am sure I drove him crazy with my repeated questions. Sorry Tobin!
