I am currently thinking about switching from my bcd to a BP/W. I do alot of traveling, so I would like something that is light and easy to travel with, but then I also plan on doing some wreck/cave stuff, which would require a doubles setup. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a setup. Thanks

Deep Sea Supply has a plastic plate and a travel wing that received very good reviews on here. Another option is the Oxycheq using the Koplin plate and their travel wing. If using a travel wing then you would be limited to single tanks. Both plates should be able to mount a doubles wing. If you are looking for only one wing for singles and doubles then your best choice is the Diverite Rec Wing. It is not optimal for either single or doubles but it works adequately.

I have a Dive-Rite SS plate with the deluxe harness with the dual Classic wing. I dive double steel 119s and love my setup.

you could get a single plate and two wings: one for travel-singles and one for doubles

it's going to be tough to find a wing that does both well

i have a singles Halcyon Pioneer that i love, and a doubles Halcyon Explorer that i also love

i have a steel plate for singles and aluminum for doubles, but you could do both with an aluminum plate (lighter) without too much fuss

i'm not sure how much less than 2lbs a plastic plate weigh, but that could be another option
