I have an o-ring on one harness and bungee on another due to the fact that one harness came with one and the other didn't so I made one. This might just be a muscle memory thing but I find the o-ring easier to pull out and store. The bungee has too much give.

Does anyone know where I can find the o-ring locally? I don't mind paying $1.25 for an oring, but EE quotes $15 for shipping UPS.

Grangier has them as do some hardware stores I think it is a dash 331.

EDIT: One dive shop lists them as a 330.

Bungees are your friend. You can use them to keep things, including your inflator, tied down.

I know I might get my dive shop card revoked for sharing this, but here is a little secret...go to Lowe's and get some tarp ties. Something like this: Shop Task Force 8-Pack 12-in Canopy Tarp Ties at Lowes.com

With these, you can adjust the length and the ball on the end gives you something to grab onto for easy access.

Hope this helps.

You can also use those hair tie loops to secure the hose. From the ones I find on the ground they come in different styles and colors.

I tried the bungee and did not care for it. Ended up securing both the corrugated hose and lp hose with my old retractor attached directly to the webbing and using the camera/light wrist cord loop sinched around both. Worked extremely well!

oxycheq wings come with a little flap that you route the inflator through and then velctro to your shoulder strap. Works great. Works even better now that I shortened my inflator to 12".

Also available, is cutting down the corrugated hose to about a 6" length so it just does not need to be handled in anyway at all.

Of course make sure you can oral inflate it if needed but that's usually a simple head turn.

Ditto....W/a short rubber lp hose it stays in place and no need to tie it down.....Experiment until you find what works best for you.........
