My new BP/W should arrive soon and I'd like to get a feel for how people secure the inflator? I'm using a HOG harness so theres no Velcro flaps to hold down the hose like generic BCDs so I'm looking for suggestions for DIY solutions....bungee, bike tire, etc. & how it's actually done.

Combo of inner tube to hold the hose to the inflator and bungee through the left chest D ring. If your inflator is long you can use another inner tube piece on the harness near the shoulder to keep it streamlined.

Two-sided velcro tape at the shoulder securing both hoses to the shoulder strap and loop of bungee on the chest D-ring keeper captures just the LPI hose.

Bicycle inner tube on the shoulder strap with only the low pressure hose threaded through it.

I also use a loop of bungee. Mine is fed through the tri-glide that holds the left shoulder D-ring.

like this image I found on the internet:

I have an o-ring on one harness and bungee on another due to the fact that one harness came with one and the other didn't so I made one. This might just be a muscle memory thing but I find the o-ring easier to pull out and store. The bungee has too much give.

Does anyone know where I can find the o-ring locally? I don't mind paying $1.25 for an oring, but EE quotes $15 for shipping UPS.

Any plumbing supply place should have large o rings you can use. I like to use bungee myself. I make d rings out of it like the one CT Sean posted a pic of. The new HOG harnesses come with a length of it just for that purpose.
