Here she is today. We spent about 2 hours in the pool practicing skills. She was using a AL60 and I need to set the straps lower on the tank to move more weight higher. She only used 3lbs of lead and might not have needed that much.
May I ask why you need more weight higher? To me it seems she is top heavy and compensating for it.
 
Sorry, it seems like that was forever ago and I just remember that her legs kept sinking and I moved the tank up to compensate. She has since gotten her AOW and has only used AL80s for open water dives. Buoyancy has not been an issue. She is wearing a 5mil in this photo and is using ankle weights to keep her legs down.

Yes she is wearing two different fins. During the first dive her left fin snapped in half at the toes when she did her giant stride into the water.
