Newly certified diver, N. Cal (dry suit) diving, where should I look (manufactuer's web site's), what am I looking for, what do I need as far as gear, etc.
May sound really basic, but I have to learn somewhere, right?
Any help greatly appreciated!!

Vance,
I work at Travis and dive with some guys in Sac... We dive mostly BP&W DIR style... PM me if you want to check out my setup.... Maybe we join us for some training dives.

Don't forget to PM Fredt on this board, From what I've heard he makes excellent bp's, sta's and I think sells harnesses with all the d rings etc. People I've talked with say his work is top notch and he can help you in putting together a balanced rig. I have a Halcyon bp and oxycheq wing. Some people say the edges on some of the halcyon bp's are a little rough.

Tony.
