If I really had to restore an SMB, first choice would be to roll it up and stuff it in my drysuit pocket. Second option is that my Halcyon SMB has a bolt snap & shock cord on it, so I could roll it up and clip it off to a hip D-Ring on my harness.

This.

I have some bungee on the side of my plate which is looped around my SMB. I have the stupidly large 10' DSMB so I haven't found a pocket that fits it yet. I just ordered the Highland one so I will let you know. Should arrive tomorrow.

Don't know about a 10' one, but I use this or other brand's versions (have different brands on my plates)...

XS Scuba Mesh Carry Pouch or http://www.divegearexpress.com/tools/liftbags.shtml

Holds my SMB and spool rigged and ready.

sits along the bottom of my plate (might be able to put it along the edge too..)

edit: this one (DGE) seems to possibly work with a 10' SMB.....
