BP Anyone?

I decided to make my own BP and the project got a bit out of hand. Anyway, I have 9 each of the BPs described below if anyone is interested. Each plate is made of 3/16ths type316L stainless. There are two designs as you can see from the pics. The difference isn't that great, but one is flatter and a bit shorter.

Plate 1 - 15" tall and about 10 3/4 wide. The ridge is about 1 7/8ths high. Weight is 7.6lbs.

Plate 2 - about 15 5/8ths" tall and abut 10 1/4" wide. The ridge is about 2 1/8th high. Weight is 7.6lbs.

On the shorter plate, it looks like the harness slots and upper tank strap slots overlap.

That's right. If you're going to use that plate with a single cylinder you'll need an STA or you'll need to loop the harness through the upper tank slots so the tank bands can go through also. Of course the longer plate doesn't have that issue if you don't want to use a STA.

I was using an AL plate for my RB but wanted to get more weight on my back so Gregg made the smaller plate for me. The plates are well made and finished well (thanks Gregg). The attached photo is the shorter plate on my Meg.
