I know this topic has been posted several times but I cant find the answers I'm looking for. I have an old Aqua Lung BT that is the same as the OMS and Uwatec and was wondering if anyone has successfully opened them and changed the battery or even if a professional watch shop could do it. I'm assuming there is oil in the case because I can see the bubbles. Does anyone have any info on the Aqua Lung BT? Its dated 01/96 and still works and there is no low battery indicator.

The reason you can't find the answer you want is because it can't be done. If it still works, keep using it. When it dies, it's a paper weight, and you buy a new one for $150. 15 years is a pretty good run
