Location
Boracay Island, Philippines
About this time of the year, the wind comes from the southwest. The waves in front of the main white beach is still alright as dive boats can still load equipment and pick-up divers but passenger boats dock at the backside of the island.

By the end of the month, the waves would be stronger and most diving activities would take place in the backside of the island.

During this transition period, the good news is that visibility underwater is extremely good. The dive sites in front of the main white beach would have an average visibility of 20-30 meters, 70-100 feet. At the backside, it would be around 12-18 meters, 40-60 feet.

In a way, we are quite fortunate to be in a place where diving is possible all year round.

I wonder how it is from where you are now...
