I'm a bit behind lately. Hoping to get back to SE Asia this winter.
Maldives, fabulous. I loved every trip there. The focus on sharks eventually wore off for me though, so I stopped going there.

Chilly - a bit off topic - but try Boutique Beach, Dhigurah. They understand mantas and whale sharks (but no chasing, no touching, stay still and let them come to you) all sorts of fish and the macro is excellent and special. Dive operation is v efficient, personal, and cheerful! Website is true to life. See their videos.
