Wkndbum:
Mike, $65 per tank, 2 tank min. We plan on 2 tanks Sat & 1 Sun am.

Super 8 is $48 diver rate for a double ($70 reg on-line) almost half of what they want for a room with the mine pkg.

Dust off your gear & meet us down there.

Terry

Thanks for the info Skull/Terry!

Terry,

Thanks for the invite, I would love to go along, and would but I'm going to Cozumel January 22nd so I guess I better stay home until then and save my pennies. You guys were talking about diving dry suits, since I don't own one yet what is the recommended exposure suit short of a dry suit?

Mike

At the mine they require nothing less than a 7 mm from head to toe. Thanks for the info on renting the lead. I will keep that in mind when I go in January.

Guess I better cancel my next trip abroad and invest in a dry suit, thanks for the feedback!

A wetsuit is fine for Bonne Terre. The water temperature is constant year round. Can't remember the temp. - it should be on their website if someone here doesn't provide it - but I remember being very comfortable in my 1/4". & the dive guides were all in wetsuits as well.

Looks like James took care of the temp question.
Paula, remember that there are those that wouldn't dive anything less than a 5mm in the tropics. Personally if the water is about 70, trunks it is. Maybe a skin for protection.
Just paid my $200 for my January mine trip today and looking forwrd to it.

Very true on people having an personal ability to handle different water temps. I just didn't want him thinking dry suit was the only way to go.

Have a wonderful trip in January.
