Some footage from 3 bonfire (light-trap) dive experiments on the shores of east Bali's Lombok Strait.
Dives were done with very basic setup, using some dive lights (less roughly 5000 lumen in total...) as lures, suspended on a deep mooring line

Equipment used:

- Panasonic Lumix LX10 (LX9/LX15 in some locales) compact camera in a NALX10 Nauticam housing, Inon UCL-165M67 +6 diopter
- two Kraken 8000v2 video lights with RC-02 remote
- Shot in Amed, east Bali, in 4K 30fps, CineD profile

cheers!

Love the video with all the strange critters

Thank you! It was really interesting to experiment with this, and also compare what critters showed up compared to actual deep blackwater dives in the area.
I plan on continuing the experiments in Okinawa when weather warms up a bit!
