Sand Dollar should also be considered an option. It has a beach until a big storm spews away the sand. In June, the beach was actually pretty nice. There are shaded places along the waterfront for reclining/reading. There is a pool, too. In addition, the snorkeling is pretty good. Dock entries from the Bonaire Dive and Adventure pier are easy, as are the exits up the steel staircase. Moreover, Sand Dollar and its neighbor, Den Laman, both front on Bari Reef which has the highest reported marine species diversity in the Caribbean. Boat dives run from the BDA dock morning and afternoon.
