Jason,
I saw you at Buddy Dive last week. You had just came out of the water and we were going in. I wanted to ask about the drysuit, but didn't have time. On a couple of my longer dives, I was wishing I was wearing my drysuit also, as I was getting chilled. Wish I had known it was you, would have liked to talk with you. :palmtree: Bob

Hey Bob,

You sure it was me? I saw alot of others in drysuits with a pony bottle. :)

What day was it?

J

Don't remember the exact day, although I think it was early in the week. I would recognize you and your sling bottle anywhere. ;) :palmtree: Bob

Getting wet is part of the enjoyment of diving for me, but if you're happy in a dry suit, more power to you! ;)

You should get a big patch for your drysuit that says WWW
(Warm Water Wuss):rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:

I'm with Jepsukar on this one.

I've never ended a dive saying "Damn, would have been much better if I had been cold!"

My buddy and I recently did 32 dives in 6 days in Bonaire. We had people coming up to us in restaurants and bars saying "Are you the two guys that have been diving in dry suits all week?" People were asking if they could get their picture taken with us because "the folks at home will never believe them" that they saw not ONE, but TWO guys in dry suits in Bonaire.

Plenty warm in 80oF water 5-6 times a day. (No problem doing a 90min night dive at Town Pier while others were calling it quits due to being chilled.)

Plenty cool in 85oF air temp and full sun at noon, during our surface interval at the Hilma Hooker.

One guy asked "Why do you dive dry in a place like Bonaire?"

Me: "You know how it feels to put a cold, clammy, smelly wetsuit on over and over again all week?"

He: "Yeah..."

Me: "I don't."

:D

Good answer.
