That's great, I'm glad you did it. I really don't know if Buddy is more or less expensive that other places to eat. I can try to find out. How do we recognize each other (you and Sarge, et alii)?

Ok, not sure what time you are thinking of meeting but our tentative plan is to do an "early" night dive at Buddy's and then meet up for drinks/dinner :)

Have not read good things about Buddy's food but how bad can a burger and fries be - and I have heard the beer is cold!

Alcina, are you thinking Sunday drinks and dinner? If so I'm for an early nite dive at the dock in front of Buddy's (hear it is a great place to do it) then dinner and drinks.... Doug that work for you?

From there we will plan our dive for the rest of the week.

Sarge & Alcina,

That works for me, early night dive Sunday June 10th at Buddy’s. It’s a nice dive, if memory serves large Tarpon hang out there waiting for a light to shine on their food. Sunset is at 6:58PM, the restaurant (Poolbar) is open until 10:00PM. Perhaps we can meet at the dive shop/dock at 6:30’ish. So how do we recognize each other? I’ll be the one wearing dive gear ;-). Actually my BC is pretty noticeable, a new looking red OMS wing. I had to replace my 20+ year old bc, which finally died trying to take me with it (another story). I don’t remember the food being bad, perhaps not very memorable, but not terrible (of course it’s been ten years.) Looking forward to meeting everyone.

No worries. The food is great. I loved the chicken satay.

Didn't Kirk close his restaurant at Buddy Dive to concentrate on his location at Den Laman?

Lions Den is gone from the Buddy property, I don't know who owned it. The only food option there is the bar which is decent. If you want something more upscale walk next door to Rum Runners at Capt. Dons.
