...still trying to work it out... but that means I can't use the ammo for the new puppy I want...

puppy :dontknow: bonaire

I'll let you know how the cards fall on this one.

Shoot, after the weekend I had with MY dogs - YOU CAN HAVE ONE! Heehee. I'm keeping the cat though. She's the only sane one out of the bunch.

Here let me help you:

Bonaire in January - hot temps, colorful coral, numerous fishies (yes, fishies), delightful company (I am) shorts, sandals, bathing suit, salt water, the smell of coppertone. Lazy relaxed pace. Diving diving diving.

Okay. Let's look at the flip side.

Puppy in January. HOUSEBREAKING. Outside. In Snow. You live in the OhdearGodit'sCOLD Wilderness. Odd sounds in the middle of the night. Coats, scarves, hats and boots. Shoveling shoveling shoveling and more shoveling. Did I mention it is cold? Lysol (to clean the accidents because you didn't want to go outside) the smell of doggie burps. Hectic pace. Snow brought into house because of 4 feet that don't wipe themselves.

Let me know if you need more reasons. :D

I couldn't begin to imagine why you would be single :D For the rest of you - inside joke as I have crossed intellectual swords with gNats before and she is sharp.

Hey Moosey!

For all the nice viewers out there in tv land - the score is: gNats 2 Moosey 0. Hey Moosey - Better call Rocky for backup!

Have you figured out where you are diving yet?

No. I'm holding out waiting to see if it is a twosome and if so, I want to be able to be flexible to that person's diving interests. (See what a great person I would be to travel with!)

If I go alone, I'll most likely just sign up with the resort charter for all of my diving - as a renter of the condo I will get a 20% discount on boat and shore diving.

Also, to answer your question, I really haven't "researched" the dive spots. Frankly, while there may be one better than the other to people who have been to the island before, I am sure each dive will be sensational no matter where I am. So, if I am doing it alone, I'll probably be less selective than if I was with a buddy who had his or her own favorite spots.
