Bonaire - Jan 24-31; Roomie/Buddy Wanted

Hi everyone,

I rented a 2 queen bed kitchen studio style condo on Bonaire for January 24 - 31 and I am looking for someone to share the condo and/or dive buddies while on the island.

If you are interesting in rooming, I am asking $325 and split any communal food costs, such as juice, snacks, beer. Stuff you would normally share.

There are no meals or diving included in this price, but the the dive charter associated with the condo offers a 20% discount to renters and unlimited shore diving on the day you have a boat dive.

Because you never know who is lurking on these boards, I would prefer to discuss details regarding location and specifics in another format.

A little about me, as you can see from my profile, I am a newly certified diver. I have 13 quarry dives under my belt since certification in September. I have experience with snorkeling throughout the BVIs and Western Carrib, so I am not too worried about the "big blue" experience itself.

I will have a cheapo point and click camera and hope to take photos while diving and love to explore and watch the fish in action.

If you are already traveling to Bonaire and are willing to take on another person in your party, I would love to meet new people. I haven't made my boat dive reservations yet, so I am flexible on where I dive.

I am planning a trip to Bonaire hopefully around March for 4-6 weeks and would like to get an apartment down there for that length of time, this would have been a great opportunity to search for a place and get some diving in too. Are you flying out of DTW? Did you find a good flight? Which carrier did you choose? Sorry for all the ?'s I'm hoping you can save me some time when its my turn.

Hey Bandit - I am flying out of DTW - on Delta. I have a change of planes in NY on the trip out and a change of planes in Atlanta on the return home. My airfare was $803 complete. I know that there are still seats available - price is about $820.

I couldn't begin to imagine why you would be single For the rest of you - inside joke as I have crossed intellectual swords with gNats before and she is sharp.
