Hi my name is Barb and Rick and I will be staying at the Black Durgon, just a hop away from where you are staying. It is less thank a 5 minute walk, slowly I might add. We have been going to the Black Durgon for 2 years now and the dive shop is runned by Al. If this is the dive shop you are using, through the black durgon, you will always have a fresh supply of tanks. Never had a problem. The tanks are conveniently located right up front of the Black Durgon. I've stayed there, this will be our 6th time and never had a problem arriving at 5 am in the morning, having my room unlocked and ready with clean towels. Can't compare the 2 since I never stayed at Diver's Paradise. I prefer the Durgon, for one, being on the water. The friendly service I get from Al and also Doris. Some people may say Al is a bit different. Well, maybe, but he is one of the nicest people I ever met. He basically leaves you alone. He will greet you and if you are in need of anything, he is available and will help you. He doesn't watch you like a hawk, lets face it, we're adults. He does own some horses that he tends to during the day, and checks on them in the evening. Don't know why I am here defending him, just read some comments that I didn't think were fair. I'm sure he will make sure your stay at Diver's Paradise is comfortable. I met people who stayed there and used Al for the tanks and to sit and relax at his outdoor kitchen after there dives You'll see sunsets that will stay with you forever. You'll find peace and tranquility and share your diving stories with other divers. I hope you have a wonderful vacation in Bonaire. There is nothing like it for me and Rick.
We'll be there from December 26 thru January 10th. Maybe we'll meet.
