I have lived in the Caribbean since 87 off and on. I know the tides are obviously related to the moon but I believe storm surge, surge and what we call, swell, is related to storms and other weather conditions. Early March, the waves were pretty being in Bonaire and along the west coast some little rollers for sure. By the 20th it was lovely in fact, we snorkeled at Klein all over enjoying the vis quite well.

I'd book your trip and come. Perhaps during the full moon in Sept. in time for the coral spawn?

Annie
