If you are trying to reach people on the island, it may be a bit difficult if they don't have a cell. It has been fixed, but temporarily as I understand and that it may be up and down for the next few days.

From the Hamlet north (including Hato, Sabedeco, Santa Barbara, Republiek (basically the whole hill, and the rest of the island north (THE RINCON GRID) was out from 11:30 am until 5:10 pm.

The expect it to be up and down most of tomorrow, and hopefully will finish repairs by the end of the weekend.

It's 6:22 pm here on Bonaire, and just got a report that electricity now out by Lisa Gas, the stadium, Nikiboko area. It seems like they will be working through the night. This is the area just south of town, before you get to the airport. It also extends eastward (inland).

If you need to get in touch with people on the island, keep trying. Unanswered phones, emails, etc are probably due to this cause. Just an FYI for all.

Thanks for the info. I was awaiting 2 unimportant e-mail questions and thats probably why I'm still sitting here waiting.

How's the weather and the diving? We'll be out there for the first time, snorkeling like crazy come next Sunday 31st.

Thanks

Joe,

Hey Parlin!!!! We moved from NJ to Bonaire 4 years ago. It's about 5am on Sunday and I've been up since 3am (not fun), but it has been raining!!!! We are having a front that is going through, but will be gone by the time you get here!!! Weather will then be typical Bonaire this time of year, sunny, hot and trade winds!!!

I was hoping to get in the water today for some snorkeling, but we will see what the weather brings!
