the dive conditions are almost back to normal in Bonaire!! After all of the stormy weather from Tomas last weekend and the wind reversals this weekwnd, diving and visibility are quickly improving. Bonaire Dive and Adventures has replaced the decking and will open the pier tomorrow. We went south today and dove at Fisherman's Hut and Margate Bay. Both dives were great. the water is clear, the entry/exit was normal with small waves and the coral and fish seem unaffected. We are so glad to see things turn around.

The only downside is now we cannot dive The Lighthouse, Lac Cai or the east side very easy. Oh well, I guess we have to dive the west side!!

Next week should be absolutely great for those of you lucky enough to be coming here. enjoy!!

Glad to hear the good news. When I was in Bonaire the first week of October there was some really weird weather; lots of the rain the first 3 days or so, poor viz. at some sights, and different currents. Be we did dive off the site by that light house at the extreme south end of the island, and some other southern sites (including Red Slave) I hadn't hit before, and still had a great time (22 dives; don't think it kept us out of the water!).

Thanks for the update Vann. We arrive Saturday morning and the weather has had me concerned since Tomas first formed. I'll try to post dive conditions next week.
Andrew.
