Palnning to go first or second spawn this fall. Any input is welcome, especially on the quality of the diving (vis, etc) and the crowds (too many divers, etc.)

Thanks

Definitely the first one, Sept 9-16th. It will be quieter and a little more will be going on underwater. October it is much hotter and more chance of rain. Vis is better in September.

I met a guy from some kind of marine conservation organisation on Bonaire who was talking about this. Don't have the web-site address but a bit of searching should find it and then I am sure he would be pleased to be emailed.

The organization is called Stinapa. Do a search on that. I'm sure you will be able to find his email that way. Do you recall his name? Thanks. Liz

Don't remember his name. He was at one of the dive shows here in UK. What I do remember was his enthousiasm and knowledge.

They won't do it if you just hover there staring.

Try not to be obvious.

When they have cigarettes afterwards, don't lecture them.

;) OFF: Also, you might want to try submerging at about 2200 hrs, not any earlier.

On a similar note, when do the cuttle fish do their thing?
