Love Karpata, Witches Hut, and Invisibles. At Angel City, follow the mooring line down to where the cement block sits in the sand. You should find a yellow frog fish at the bottom. They don't move that much and we saw it on 10/5.

Larry's Wildside Diving on Lac Bay. Call him directly and get a free t-shirt. It is a blast. We saw many very large green morays, turtles, 4 white-spotted eagle rays, and a school of 30 or so tarpon. On the way back to the shore he opened up those big ole engines. All 5 of us thought it was definately worth the $100.

Apple Pie at Papaya Moon (don't order the bloody mary's though). I don't like apple pie but this was to die for!

There is a small market by the traffic circle that rents coolers for $5 or $7/ day (can't remember the exact amount). Definately worth it when we were able to eat cold fresh fruit and to drink cold water during surface intervals.

Don't forget the bug spray. I just got an email from my mom that said that dryer fabric sheets in the pocket are great for repelling bugs. Don't know if it really works or not but worth a try.

we just got back from Boanaire last week.

My favourites. Karpata, Witches Hut/Webers Joy, Something Special, Forest, Neraest Point.

Food. The meals at these places were very good
Rum Runners (had a special 4 course meal for our 30th Wedding Anniversary)
Richards (should have had the Pier Table but it was still out of action after Felix)
Patagonia
Warung Louise

Have a great trip

What Clear Blue said. Oil Slick is the easiest and most fun entry on the island!

Jefflamingo- when are you going that can be a "slight" factor people and such. I have been there 3 times and love it in the past 5 years. So far haven't found any dive sites that I didn't like but then again I dive in Michigan. The food and diving is great down there and trying to get there again this winter winter- Michigan thing again. If I can link up with a dive buddy or two I hope to be there in February or March. Lots of great info on Bonaire Talk - The place to discuss everything and anything about Bonaire! and Info Bonaire - The Bonaire Information Site - The Most Current and Up-To-Date Information

Most properties are self catering. There are a slew of places to shop for food. Cultimara is mentioned above. I prefer Warehouse and More For Less. Great local eats include Mi Banana and El Fagon. Super Bar Hap Menu (13.00 USD) not to miss at Mona Lisa. 3 Star Michelin Chef Wil of Wil's Grill is nothing shore of amazing. Rum punch parties Monday at Habitat and Friday at Buddy with music by Moogie. Steel Band and BBQ at Plaza Tue. Wed. night in the sand BBQ at Bonaire Windsurf Place. Stargazing at Sera Largu or Willemstoren Lighthouse past Red Slave. Hiking Dos Pos in Rincon....a massage at Luna Massage at Bonaire Windsurf Place.....Ice Cream at Lover's.

My fav snorkel sites and dive sites for my clients include Invisibles, Sampler (I think its called off Klein) and Margate.

Navigation is pretty easy because the reefs run parallel to the shore. And we always snorkeled out to the mooring bouys because there is plenty to see in between. For eating we enjoyed the Lion's Den at Buddy's, Bistro de Paris, Casablanca, City Cafe. For surface intervals we went to the donkey sanctuary, went horseback riding, and had massages at Nubia's. And of course the last no diving day we drove around the island (and did some snorkeling at the Andreas).
