Bolt snaps. Are they part of the regulator or BP/W?

Trying to organize all my stuff and I just got a handful of new bolt snaps from Piranha. I started to put them in the box of BP/W stuff under the bed and then thought, well... really they are more of a regulator part since they attach there more-or-less permanently. My reg stuff is in the closet in the spare spare bedroom.

Where do these go? Are they a reg part or a BCD part?

I keep them with BC stuff (specifically in my butt pouch) as I also use them for mounting tanks and fins and lights…

If I put them in the right place, then go look for them later in the WRONG place, I'll think I'm out and then buy more when I actually still have plenty. I guess you can't have too many bolt snaps, sliders and D-rings. I'm starting to think about using them to micro-adjust weighting... "Oh! You're buoyant at the shoulders?! Here's five extra bolt snaps... just clip them here!"

I think BP/W. You will use them on more than just your regulator. I have them on my dsmb, Dryfob for my car keys, PLB, torches, you get the picture. Myself, I put bolt snaps and double enders all together as a separate item. We all have our own organizational methods.

Good point. I use them on all those things. I'll go dig the box out of the reg closet and move them back to the BP/W box. They do attach everything to the BP/W.

I would put the with lights because that’s where I use them most often.

Put them in the large Ziplock bag with all the other spare hardware.
