I have just received my double AL80 setup and was trying to setup the tanks with my wing and BP. I am using a DR stainless BP and a DR RecWing. I find that the bolt length seems to be JUST enough for me to screw in the wing knot for a few threads. I remember reading about the shallower middle channel on DR backplates. Is it true? If so, does this simply means that the setup would require a longer bolt? I understand the the current bolt is 130mm.
