If you are cold, have proper undies, dont use trimix (I use argon), **** can those thermolution vests. Anyone with an electrical degree laughs at their claims. I think once I calced one out to around 15w of heat. I dont recall exactly, but wasnt much. Those tiny batteries just cant do it. Look into the santi or Lola heat vest, at 55w. Those are real vests. But you will need an external canister for battery power. I regularly dive in low 40's. , even high 30's. Under Armour Compression base wicking layer, 4th Element Artic over that, and a White Thermo Fusion over that. Plus a Lola 55w vest with argon for suit inflate.. I can manage multi hour dives easily.
BTW, wet gloves arent doing you any favors either. Thick hood is a must, we use the KO1s right now.
