Here is a reply I recieved from the Florida Sea Grant.
Hi Brian,
I'm afraid we will be taking this year off, unless we can pull it off as a fall event. Bob Wasno left his position as Lee County Sea Grant Agent. :huh: That position has been advertised, but is not yet filled.
The Boca Grande Pass cleanup has been a very popular event that has accomplished a great amount of success in terms of debris removal and enhanced stewardship of the resource. I do anticipate that it will be revived in the future.
